Fixing Missing Apple or Spotify Profile IDs

If a release is encountering a distribution error due to a missing Apple or Spotify profile ID, here's a simple step-by-step guide to resolve the issue efficiently:

  1. Navigate to Rights Holders → Artists and locate the artist missing their Apple or Spotify profile ID.

  2. Enter the correct profile IDs for Apple Music and/or Spotify.

  3. Save your changes.

  4. Go to the Distribution tab of the specific release (not the main overview page).

  5. Click on the Error tab to see which DSPs are affected and select all relevant ones.

  6. From the Options menu at the top of the page, choose “Update metadata.”

  7. When prompted, type update and submit the request.


Quick Support Option

If you're unable to locate the artist in the Rights Holders → Artists section, just open a support ticket. Please include:

  • The Release ID or UPC

  • The Artist Name
