What is Discovery Mode?
Spotify Discovery Mode is a promotional tool that helps your music reach more listeners by increasing exposure in Spotify’s personalized algorithms — like Radio, Autoplay, and Mixes.
This gives your tracks a better chance of being discovered by new fans around the world.
How Does It Work for Kingsmen Artists?
If your music is distributed through Kingsmen Studio, your eligible tracks are automatically enrolled in Spotify Discovery Mode — no action is required from you.
You do not need to submit or request inclusion.
Discovery Mode may increase your exposure, but Spotify deducts a small commission (30%) on streams generated through this program.
Eligibility
To be considered, a track must:
Be distributed through Kingsmen Studio (via our partner platform).
Have been released for at least 30 days.
Meet Spotify’s internal criteria (performance, listener engagement, etc.).
If a track qualifies, it is automatically submitted by our system.
Important Notes
This feature is currently available only for tracks that meet Spotify’s criteria.
Inclusion in Discovery Mode does not guarantee results but can significantly increase reach.
Streams via Discovery Mode appear in your reports and may show a royalty deduction due to Spotify's promotional fee.
