If you need to update a release while it's still being delivered to platforms, you can now make changes without waiting for the process to fully complete. Here's how:
Steps to Edit a Release in Delivery
In your Kingsmen Studio dashboard, navigate to Assets → Music → Select the release → Distribution.
Switch to the Processing tab to view DSPs still in delivery.
Hover over the header row (e.g., "Service / Enqueued On / Delivered On") to reveal the top checkbox—select all DSPs that are still in the process of delivery.
A black action bar will appear—choose: Options → Takedown.
Now, you can edit your release metadata or files as needed.
After editing, redeliver your release to all DSPs—especially those already delivered to—to reflect the updated metadata across platforms.
Note: This process does not perform a full takedown—it only pauses delivery for editing. If you intend to fully remove the release, repeat the process in the Distributed tab instead.
Why It Matters
This method allows you to correct mistakes quickly—like adjusting metadata, cover art, or track details—without having to wait for full delivery to complete. You maintain delivery control and only resubmit to platforms as needed.
