In a Standalone Setup—where Kingsmen Studio handles all release creation and distribution—Payees are contributors like musicians, producers, or collaborators who receive royalties from your catalog, but are not involved in managing or distributing assets.
These Payees have the following characteristics:
Identified as royalty-only recipients (they receive payments but don’t manage content).
Granted view-only access to certain areas:

Distribution status
Transaction history
Revenue analytics
They cannot edit content or distribution details in the portal.

In addition to regular royalty payees, you can also set up Commission Payees. These are contributors whose share is deducted from your (Kingsmen Studio's) service fee, not from the total royalty pool.
