If one of your releases has been flagged by Kingsmen Studio due to a potential rights violation or policy issue, and you believe this was done in error, you have the right to submit an appeal. Here’s how our appeals process works:

1. Submitting an Appeal

  • Reply directly to the statement or email that listed the flagged assets, or send a new email to [email protected]

  • Clearly explain why your asset should not have been flagged—address the specific violation type identified (e.g., don’t claim ownership if the issue is artificial streaming).

  • Attach relevant documentation, such as rights ownership proof, licensing agreements, creation proof, or any other evidence supporting your case.

2. What Happens During Review

  • Our rights team will manually evaluate your appeal, considering all submitted evidence.

  • Depending on the complexity or the need for external input (e.g., from a DSP), this review may take a few days.

  • You’ll receive updates on the status and any further actions needed.

3. Appeal Outcomes

  • We may release the withheld royalties or confirm the original flagging decision.

  • You’ll be notified via email with the outcome and any follow-up steps required.

4. Provide Additional Documentation

  • If you gather more evidence after the initial appeal, you are encouraged to submit it—it may change the outcome.

  • Most decisions following an appeal are final, but if further review is warranted, we will clearly inform you.
